MTDC Kokan Alphonso Tourism Festival 2013

The Maharashtra Tourism Development Corporation (MTDC) has collaborated with Kokan Green Life to organize a unique alphonso tourism festival in the Kokan region. After all, it is the mango season & what better way than to travel to the heart of mango-land in Maharashtra & get first-hand knowledge about the king of fruits!

Features & Highlights

• You will learn about the varieties of mangoes grown in the Kokan region
• You will get to meet the cultivators and taste the different varieties of mangoes
• You will spend 4 days at the homes of farmers, 2 days in a home in the Sahyadris and 2 days at a home on the seashore.
• You will get to enjoy traditional local food, including the famed jackfruit, cashew & blue berries which thrive in this region.

The 4-days package is Monday to Thursday & Thursday to Sunday.
