Located appoximately 200 kms from Mumbai in

How to go to Purushwadi: You can drive down to Purushwadi
from Mumbai or Pune or board the Kasara train from CST railway station, Mumbai (Central Railway route). From Kasara (which falls within Thane District) you can arrange for a rental vehicle to take you to the Purushwadi village. It is best, though, to visit as part of a tour group as then you avoid all the hassles of arranging all the travel aspects. The tour operator will also arrange for your stay in a guest house or in tents.
